I think that sites provided by governments and from professors or university students are more reliable because they are people who are publishing work to contribute tot he learning of people all around the world. They aren't people who are waiting for money as a return or such a thing.
Doing a regular google search will give you information anyone can publish even if it is wrong. Therefore doing a google advance search will provide you will some solid information which is CORRECT (depending on what site of course). Books or online encyclopedia are better to use than a search engine because they are books that have been gone over many times and correct/proof read/pre-viewed/edited many times.
It is also important to know who and when the information was published, because if a teenager published a certain information he/she will have a totally different point of view compared to an adult. If a certain information was published in a certain year (such as the year a certain natural disaster occurred) it will be different aspect to read about it when it occurred than to read about it now that 10 years, or such, passed by.

Dear Mother and Father...

Dear Mother and Father,
It has been a long time I haven't wrote to you. To be honest, as the days pass by i'm scared more and more. I could die any day now and I thought to write you guys a letter today would be a good idea. Who knows what will happen to me tomorrow or today afternoon? I am so thankful to still be alive.
We've been sleeping in these trends for months. We can bearly write letters to our dear ones. Many of my friends have died because of snipers while being in the trends, so one can never be too careful.
Although during the night less bullits hit our men and it might seem peaceful, but it is not, rats invade the trends at night.
Our only time we have to rest for a battle is not peaceful because the rats were bitting us and eatting our clothes.
Did you know that many sicknesses which has killed many of our men were transmitted by rats?!
Yesterday was my day to rest (sort of) and guard the trends, tomorrow i'll go on battle field again. It is terrifing to go there when thousands, actually MORE than thousands, of bullits are shot at us.
Rare are the people that make it alive after that event. Maybe tomorrow will be my last day outin the battle field, or I might be dead by the time they send poisonous gas.
I have been thinking after all these events and mischief occured if it would be more peaceful to just die and get over this whole mess.

Using a System of Analyzing

1. Step One: Identitfy the Problem
A typical teenager is having trouble understanding the ways a certain teacher is teaching his/her lessons.

2. Step Two: Notes the Solutions Proposed
-Talk to the teacher and ask for help
-Ask for other students that undertsand his/her teaching to help you understand
-Ask the teacher if he/she may give you some time apart from class to explain in details what you don't understand.

3. Step Three: Evaluate the Potential Effectiveness of each solution

The first solution is to general, ask the teacher for help, but on what specifically.
The second one: Maybe the other student understands it a certain way and you might get confused and be in a worse situation when trying to understand what is said.
The third: This looks like the best solution, but this will depend if the teacher would have the time to give you this way she/he may explain.

4. Step Four: Consider other Alternatives
When one doesn't understand a certain way his/her teacher is explaining a certain subject then he may ask the teacher if he/she got time out of class to help her/him explain with more details. Therefore, if the teacher has the time then she/he may understand the subject.

Progressive Thinker

A progressive thinker is someone that tries to improve something he finds needs improvement. Though he tries to do what is best as an improvement it isn't always sure that it is going to end up a good thing because it can cause negative things to happen. Such as the Great Depression, industries increased the production for progression unfortunately this caused the economy to shoot down (decrease) and caused many problems to the living of people (all kinds of people; farmers, employer, etc.).

Health care, jobs, peace, political control, are examples of what one may think is important in today's world. This can improve a country politically, and economically; politically because it can help decrease (at least their intentions) war. Economically (their intentions, there are some cases where it doesn't) increase the economy.
To my opinion, a progressive thinker would want organization in the government, peace, and that people to be employers and not unemployed meaning that they should have jobs.

Where the Reasons for America's Imperialism Understandable/Reliable? What Would You Think About This?

--- Looking back at the start of American imperialism in the latter 1800s and
into the 20th century, in your opinion, did the positives outweigh the

Introduction:
Many different countries have looked upon the US as a imperialist state. As they (the US) spread around various different places in the world both economically and politically this put a pressure or a feeling of uncomfortableness to the people living in those regions.

Data:
The US has sent 50,000 troops to Mexican borders after France placed an emperor on Mexican throne, this shows this feeling of uncomfortableness from both Mexico (mostly Mexico) and French people. In 1867 Alaska was bought from Russia and again this shows this idea or feeling of intrusion. William H. Seward (secretary of state) hoped that the presence of the US on two sides of Canada would force British out. This feeling of intrusion is done on purpose and not accidentally, this way the British would go. 1853 American fleet sailed into Tokyo Bay and forced
Japan to start trading with the U.S. This is seen as an act of imperialism by many people such as Japanese.

Positive arguments about imperialism have been said, such as "promoting economic growth", this would be a good reason for someone in the U.S. Another reason was "protecting American security" and again this was a good reason for someone in the U.S not someone outside. Many of the reasons would be for people in the U.S, another reason was to "preserve American spirit".

Opinion:

My opinion as to did the positive outweigh the negatives, well i would say that no, the positive did not outweigh the negative. I guess this would be an outside of the US perspective. Since most of the reasons supporting imperialism in the U.S were reasons that could help the U.S and
not really help other countries. Therefore if I were to look at the perspective of an inside the U.S person i would say yes and no. Yes because it helps the nation evolve and improve. Though, I would say no if i thought about the other countries and considered their needs and point
of view.

What do you think globalization means???

Globalization:

A kind of connectivity between the world in the markets and businesses.

As technology advances it made life easy for people to travel, communication, and international business.

Some of the negative effects having to do with globalization is the decrease of economy in industry and agriculture.

Globalization has spread diseases that killed many people. (ex. in the 14th century the Black Death killed at least one third of Europe's population) By transportation people were able to travel at a faster rate and this increased the people infected by varieties of diseases.

Globalization caused people with talent and education to go in search of opportunities in richer countries.

Now that i have spoken about the negative effects of globalization, let's take a look at the positive effects.

Globalization increases oppotunity. There is a increase in economic prosperity (economic wealth). There is a more efficienty between/with countries which are benefiting from trade.

Globalization leads to a lower price and more employers. Unfortunately, this may cause people to create labor unions. If those labor unions are too powerful then they can cause damage.

The first phase of globalization is market-oriented. Then the next phase should be building global political institutions who would be representing the world citizens.

Ecologic Homey Pencils !!!

Horizontal Nature of the Company: Pencil company in urban region own small markets that would sell our pencils. Throughout Europe (France) and Western China.

Vertical Nature of the Company:

Aluminium pencils instead of wood (help the trees and the environment) we will own our own aluminium factory. Yes this material does get sharpened.

Eraser-- color black to make it fancier = more people will buy it.

Lead mines: People we will pay will work in our mines and dig for lead. The transportation and safety will be provided by us.

Rubber factory: For the eraser which is at the end of the pencil.

Aluminium (what the pencil will be made of) : It will be colored different colors. Therefore it will be fancy and people will want to buy it more.

Ouarzazat--city in Morocco--sunny region-> solar energy (less amounts of money spent on energy)

Chinese migrants: labor in our factories

People that will work on aluminium factories , they will work for 8 hours and will get payed 250 dhs. The amount of people that will work will be a total of 30 people.

People that will be working in lead mines-- they will receive 250 dhs because it is hard and difficult work. There will be a total amount of 40 people that will work in the mines.

People that will be working in rubber factories will receive 140 dhs for the 8 hours of work. (Not much rubber will be needed since its only for the back of the pencil we will be selling). There will be a total amount of 20 people that will work in the rubber factory.

Health care-- any injuries that happened to our men will be payed by our company.

For female workers: for the maternity, they will receive a 6 month off.

1 pencil = 20 dhs---- pack of then = 180 (instead of 200 this way people will buy packets instead of one pencil alone)

Dear Mr.Buffet,

I am writing to you this letter to provide you with a great business plan. My partener and I have come up with a wonderful idea of creating a pencil company. Yes, you might be thinking that there are thousands of pencil companies in the world. Why would ours be any different and why would it be great after all. Well, our pencil company isn't quite like the others. As you may have noticed there are a lot of ecologic problems such as pollution problems and lack of forests which is causing a extinction of animal species. Therefore we have come up with a plan for this problem. It might not be perfectly corresponding with the ecology, but it is a lot better than what the other companies have offered. We have come up with the idea of making the pencils aluminium instead of using wood. This will help the forests and animals that live there. The pencils will be colored in different colors which will help attract people to buy them. The color of the eraser will black to make it fancier too. The price of the pencil will be 20 dhs, the pack of pencils (10 pencils) will cost 180 reduction of 20 dhs (meaning one free pencil). This will push people to buy a pack instead of one or 2 pencils. There will be a total amount of 90 people working for us. 70 people will be receiving 143500 dhs an 20 people will be receiving 2800 dhs. Therefore the amount of money spent for the people working for us will be 146300 dhs. Plus the amount of money that will be spent for the raw material will be about 40 thousand dirhams. The transportation will not cost that much, about 1000 dhs. Lets not get our hopes down since by selling about 812 packs of the pencils we are producing it will cover the cost of the amount of money given to the workers. Therefore by producing at a rate of 200 packs an hour, after 8 hours of work from our workers we would have produced an amount of 1600 packs of pencils which will cover all our investments for the day and receive a profit. Therefore i think that it is a great idea of a business plan. We would like some of your help in making this project/business plan possible.
