Afghanistan's presidential election


President Hamid Karzai got 54.1%votes. Hamid Karzai avoids a runoff with his rival Abdullah. The 20th of august the elections were overshadowed.Abdullah ended up second with 28.3% of the votes. Unfortunatly Paktika and Kandahar two people from Ghazni found that there was evidene of irregularity with the polling stations. There for a recount will occur to make the voting fair.
The number of polling stations show a 100% for the president Hamid Karzai. BBC thinks that president Hamid Karzai will finish by being the victor.
